This was an amazing double bill that also included Boston's Scruffy The Cat. Between 1987 and 1990, Hiatt released Bring The Family, Slow Turning and Stolen Moments arguably his most creative and commercially successful period. These three albums were brilliant, and here he was touring in support of Slow Turning, in this tiny, intimate club. This was a wonderful evening of music, and the recording turned out great (as did most shows I recorded at Stache's). I saw him a couple years later, during the Stolen Moments tour in a much bigger venue, which was also an excellent show.

Thank you for this Hiatt recording! I was at this show, and just recently found out that a good friend, whom I had not met at the time, was there as well. Looking forward to sharing this show with her as well. Again, thanks.
