I went back and forth on attending this show, since they were in a support role for
Tim Barry, who I hadn't heard of. I had seen Micah solo at the Tree Bar, and caught Two Cow Garage's set at last year's Independents' Day Festival. Both were great, but the latter was a display of vivacious, in-your-face rock and roll that I knew I wanted to experience again. This was my chance and I'm sure glad I made the choice I did. They were loud, fast and loose and really seemed to be having a good time- which I remembered them doing at the festival show. Another thing I noticed is they are really appreciative of their fans, which the fans enthusiastically reciprocated.
Living in the Columbus area for nearly thirty years now has given me the opportunity to see a lot of home-grown bands do their best to remain relevant. Two Cow Garage has made this an effortless exercise for the last fifteen years.
