A couple times a year it seems, the Black Owls fly into their "mothership", Brew's Cafe in Granville and deliver their "one part Mennonite Glam Rock, one part Anthemic Punk Blues" to an enthusiastic, packed house. This night was no different, and the later it got, the larger and more enthusiastic the crowd became. The band responded by ordering more shots and ripping through several of their tunes a second time. I've come to expect a really good time whenever I see these folks, and have yet too be disappointed. Don't miss them when they land in a tavern, club or arena near you.
